Employee Spotlight: Cathy Harper

Q: What’s your position at Access, and how long have you worked here?
A: I’m a Com Hab Worker and I’ve been with Access for 14 months.

Q: What do you like most about working at Access?
A: So much! I love the clients and love working with them. I’ve learned more with them than I ever learned in school. Also, at Access I feel like I belong. I love meeting new people and I love how we all work together. I have a supportive supervisor who has helped me grow as a professional.

Q: What’s your proudest moment at Access?
A: I feel proud when my clients grow and achieve their goals. For instance, I’ve been working with one of my clients on safely crossing the street. Not only do they now cross safely, but they also check to make sure that I’m crossing safely, too.

Q: If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
A: Photographer. I do that on the side.

Q: If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to be cast as you, and why?
A: Cyndi Lauper. She’s so unusual.
