Our compliance program reflects our commitment to operating in accordance with the requirements of regulations, the law, and in a manner that is consistent with high ethical and professional standards.
Staff, interns, volunteers and vendors are required to report any actual or suspected illegal, unethical, or improper conduct to their supervisor, the Quality Assurance Department or the Compliance Officer. Reportable incidents include fraud, waste, and abuse of power or position, and violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH), Consolidated Federal Regulations (CFR), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Regulations and state and federal oversight agency rules and regulations.

Anyone reporting a compliance issue is protected under the Whistleblowers Protection Act, and therefore shielded from discrimination, retribution, retaliation or intimidation for reporting the issue. Everyone is encouraged to report anything that could be a compliance issue even if they do not have all of the information to prove the issue. Our team of trained compliance professionals will conduct the investigation and ensure the issue is addressed. Whether the noncompliance is a result of an innocent mistake or planned intent, it is important that the matter is reported so it can be addressed appropriately.
