The Care At Home Waiver
Case managers help develop and implement a plan that ensures that each individual gets the needed support from a program for children up to the age of 18 who are medically fragile and technology dependent, but can be cared for at home safely with extra supports.
The Waiver can be used for medically necessary supports beyond typical Medicaid-funded services like nursing, medications and supplies, and medical transportation. These additional supports include ramps, bathroom modifications, van adaptations, expressive therapy, massage therapy, and palliative care.
You do not have to qualify for Medicaid in order to receive Medicaid funding for your child.
